Some people teach you strategy.
Some teach you creativity.

Piyush Pandey taught me personal touch.

One of my favourite stories from his life isnโ€™t about a campaign โ€” itโ€™s about connection.

When Amitabh Bachchan once came home for lunch, Piyush didnโ€™t rush to a five-star chef or a menu consultant. He called his cousins.

โ€œWhat does Big B really like to eat?โ€

The answer came back โ€” bhindi masala.

And thatโ€™s what he cooked and served.

In his book, he wrote at length about how your cousins and extended cousins are the best Google search for real answers.
Itโ€™s a reminder that wisdom often sits closer to home than we think.

That personal touch showed in everything he created โ€” whether it was the Cadbury Dairy Milk girl running onto the cricket field or the warmth of Fevicolโ€™s impossible bond.

He made emotion a strategy. He made advertising human.

As a small tribute, Iโ€™d love to gift a copy of his book to the first five people whoโ€™d like to read it โ€” because lessons like his deserve to be passed on.

Om Shanthi, Piyush Pandey โ€” the man who reminded us that creativity without emotion is just communication without connection.
